Computer generated 3D modelling and rendering

Computer visualisations can range from schematic site layouts to fully detailed and rendered building models.

Modelling is most efficient when working from a client's 2D computer-generated drawings, but my architectural background means I can create a 3D visualisation from hard copies of drawings or even from initial hand-drawn sketches.

Photomontage

Computer modelling and photo-editing are often used together in the production of a photomontage, showing the rendered model view as a design proposal in the appropriate site context, including existing landmarks.

Digital photography

As part of a project I can undertake digital site photography for photomontage or use photographs supplied by the client.

Animation of the 3D model

Once created, a 3D model can be animated in a range of ways, from 'before & after' transitions to 360° views and full virtual reality walkthroughs, and can be formatted appropriately for DVD or web use.
